I have excruciating pain in both of my sides(flank) It started this past February & has gradually increased. It's not as bad in the daytime when I am sitting,(I'm parpalegic) in my wheelchair 10-12 hours per day. When I stretch out at night on the bed it's horrible...crying & screaming. Within the last 3-4 days the pain has gotten worse...I think it is due to having to turn sideways in my chair to make my bed, wash up in sink, brush teeth, wash the dishes, etc. on a daily basis. We don't have the facilities in our home for me to pull my chair straight forward. Needless to say any doctor I have seen is prescribing Percocet and a compound that a pharmacy mixes to rub on my sides. Also muscle relaxers Tizanidine 4 times daily. It's not helping none of it. I want to have this cleared up.....not just mask the problem. Is there such a possibility? By the way I'm 74 yr. old female.
