I have COPD and a one year history of heart failure caused by excessive fluid. I am dosed with Bumex daily to stop fluid build up, weigh several times a day to preclude weight gain and am on a reduced sodium diet which I adhere to strictly. But I continue to wake up with some mucous in the lungs. What else can hinder mucous production?- Dave
