I have a daughter 17--with complex motor tics. They started almost 2 years ago after a knee surgery. We have had EEGs to rule out seizures, however, they have escalated to much harder and more repetitions of twitching. We are well over 200 times a day. The docs say it could be "conversion disorder" which tells me, they just don't have an answer for anything. Or basically that she is making this up in her head. Not true! think it could be classified as "PANDAS" witch is caused from group A Streptococcal infection. All of the tics are through her arms, shoulders, neck and some head movement. You can hear her elbow pop out of joint and it is getting painful not only physically but emotionally as well. Does anyone have similar problems or ideas that might help us know where to turn? I am so frustrated and the doctor said to just put her on "prozac." I am not buying this as a way to solve this problem. Someone please help! @chrissylou29
