This all started a few months ago when I woke up with shoulder pain that radiated down my arm. I thought it was because I had slept on my shoulder weird. I went to the doctor, did an mri on my shoulder, found nothing, the end.
Fast forward a few months and the uncomfortableness is still in my forearm, it comes and goes. I start rubbing my arm and theres a hard bump in my forearm on the “flat” side right around the middle of my forearm. The bump is hard, about two inches wide, and almost flat. I think nothing of it until last night when my arm was really bothering me. My fingers were even feeling tingly.
I had two family members tell me the bump is probably muscle and one said the muscle is probably swollen, causing the tingles in my fingers.
Now, i blow dry dogs at work once a week, maybe twice, and on the very rare occasion ill do it 3-5 times a week. Roughly ten dogs a day. Each dog takes between 10 minutes to 45 minutes. I mainly use my right arm. You can see the size difference from left to right arm. Considering all that, could the bump be muscle or should i go get it checked out? And i am a 20 year old female.
