I am suffering with a chronic cough for a little over 3 years. I have had nearly every test I can think of that would help in diagnosing this cough and come up with a treatment.
I have been treated for post nasal drip, acid reflux and allergies, all have helped to a degree but nothing stopped the cough completely or even mostly.
The cough usually lasts 6 to 9 months depending on when I get the first cold of the year and then I cough to the point of not being able to communicate for the next several months, until the end of May more or less.
This last February I contracted a cold and the then the cough, by March I was coughing chronically, during April I lost 30 lbs in 21 days, due to not feeling well enough to eat and sick after eating. I entered the hospital at the behest of my family, hospital ran a lot of blood tests, looked at all my tests from previous episodes, did a bronchial test where they take a few biopsies and flushing; which is the last test for which I am waiting.

I have become rather desperate to find a solution to this problem and after reading a lot about LSN am of the thought that LSN along with post nasal drip could be the answer. In any event it is the only thing that they haven't evaluated for.

Be patient, the bronchial test might help the doctors diagnose the cause of your cough.Chances are you could be suffering from asthma or TB.Take care.
