I am back: Cancer has been confirmed
My lap top went down but finally fixed, My update I had my Pet scan, it of course shows the right lower nodule to be cancer but was confirmed before with a biopsy, the nodule in my left upper lung my Dr, says is a different suspicion for cancer, said cancer does not move that way. This nodule is too small to biopsy. I am not sure they both are the same cancers, I got so much info it is hard to remember it all. Both are stage one. I go for a brain scan in a week and than for the mapping, the DR. says he feels 3 doses of radiation will take care of this since it was caught early but possibly 5.
I see two oncologists my primary for my LGL leukemia who has been watching the nodule for months and now the radiation oncologist, who work closely together, Any one else have leukemia

@indalee1959, I'm hoping that the radiation goes well for you, and is effective. I don't have leukemia, but in 2024 I added a second cancer to my list, breast. At first, I had separate oncologists for the two cancers, but now I've combined care to my one local general oncologist. I know that I can always pull the specialists back in if something changes with either of the cancers.
@indalee1959, how did the brain scan and mapping go? How are you doing? Did they determine that the lung nodule is related (metastatic) to the leukemia or is it primary lung cancer (a new, separate cancer)?
