hye miss gloria..i really need your help.i need your opinion since you are mayo clinic staff.here is my assigment.
_A 65year old went to his family physician for a routine check up.His medical history,social history,and family history were all normal.He had no significant compliant. Baseline laboratory results within normal limits.His physician noted a left 10cm right renal mass.ct scan thorax demonstrate enlargement of mediastinal and hilar lymphnodes enlargement .there are also scttered pulmonary nodules size largest approaching 2cm.bone scan negative.bronchoscopy and transbronchial needle biopsy shows malignancy.guided renal biopsy was done and showed similar cellular findings seen in bronchoscopy. my first question is,1).why this patient had no significant symptom? 2).can we do a surgery to this old patient?ist safe to do surgery? @gloria
