How successful is 5-ALA induced fluorescence-guided tumor resection for gliomas? How does it impact the prognosis?

Recent studies indicate that 5-ALA induced fluorescence-guided tumor resection may become “…a novel standard in brain tumor surgery that optimizes the patient management and improves the patient prognosis…” for people with gliomas.
