How long did you continue Big 3 after sputum conversion?

For those who have bronchiectasis and took the Big 3 to treat MAC lung disease, how long after sputum conversion did you continue your antibiotic regimen? Has anyone's doctor recommended they continue for longer than 12 months after conversion? If so, for how long and what was the context?

12 months after conversion is the standard. I was initially told my stop date was going to be 2/26 as I was negative after a culture on 2/25 however my new infectious disease dr changed my therapy and had me discontinue early, July of 2025. The primary reason for this discrepancy was due to my initial provider leaving the practice so I started seeing someone new during treatment. The new Dr has a much different philosophy and takes more of a watch and wait approach.

My doctor says 12 months, and I’m counting down: 133 more days!
