Hello. Wow, I think I can safely say anyone reading of your predicament, and my response, would agree that we feel badly for you. That's a tough row to hoe.

Unfortunately, this is a peer-to-peer forum site that is almost never attended to by true health professionals. We cannot give you the medical advice you seek....sorry. All you should expect here is anecdotal information, heartfelt sympathy, and maybe advice about from which experts to seek considered advice, Most will say what they have, what was done for them, what they continue to do and to take as a remedy and for maintenance, and that is about all we're permitted to do by forum policy.

Would you have a specific question? In time, sufferers of one or more of your medical conditions should see this and respond. Please be patient.

@starlite42 Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect.

We are not medical professionals here. We are patients and family members sharing our experiences [good and bad] as we navigate through our health journeys. We cannot and should not give medical advice.

Have you spoken with your medical team on how best to approach your unique situation? What are they suggesting for you? The tardive dyskinesia ma be the results of medications you are on. Is your team aware you are dealing with this, and have they spoken to you about changing some medications?

I imagine that you would indeed feel depressed with this combination of things going on. But, you recognize that and want things to change, so that is a positive step!

Oh, I am trying to help my sweet cousin, who resides in Wichita, KS, thru
this/these issues. I don't know what meds she is taking but I'll find out.
I've googled Mayo but have been unable to get recommendations. I live ~70
mi.from Santa Fe & one of their hospitals is affiliated with Mayo and their
doctors. So since she's 600mi from Rochester & 1,000miles from the Arizona
Mayo area, I believe she'd be closer to Santa Fe. She's to call and talk
with Mayo's

@gloaming When I was my sweet disabled Brother's Caregiver, who suffered from several issues. I could email or Google Mayo and I would get an MDs suggestion and advice; they were always "right on". I recently discovered that one of our Santa Fe, NMs hospital is affiliated with Mayo's doctors. Consequently, she's to contact Care Coordination on Monday, and we'll go from there, as I imagine Kansas is closer to NM than to Minnesota or Arizona. I'm waiting to speak with her again regarding her meds. I don't have quite the medical issues my poor cousin has, altho I'm using wisdom & trying to use more holistic attempts to deal with my TypeII Diabetes and Neuropathy pain! Thanks much for listening & sharing.🥲😍
