Posted by @badtweety2005, Jun 12, 2015

Hi my name is Janet. And I have body and scalp psoriasis. My Dermatologist took samples of my outbreak in 2005 and he said I have psoriasis on my scalp and eczema on my body, I was treated by him until 2009. I lost my health insurance. I had no way to see or pay for my condition. So , for 5.5 years I suffered .and suffered. could not get a job. So I almosted drank myself to death. Anyway,I now see a family Doctor .but my insurance is limited to 3 visits a year. So I search the net for help, remedies that may help. I always have it .I t does not go away, just some days it hurts and iches less. Is there any help for me out there. My scalp really hurts my neck/back, and I am getting discouraged, stay in doors,I only go to work and home.I have icesulate myself ,IS THERE ANYONE THAT CAN HELP ME ?

Hi @badtweety2005,

I’ve had similar battles (on a small scale). I find there are things I can do that help drastically. It’s very unfortunate you’re not able to see a specialist. What medications and/or creams do you currently use?

Over the years, there’s only certain types of shampoos, cleansers and detergents that are safe for my skin. Have you experimented with any?

If you can provide a little more info, it would help the discussion further to see what we can do to help.

Regards,
Martin Lemieux
