Hi Melissa, My father has been in the hospital for 9 months with pancreatitis. he cannot hold down food form mouth or feeding tubes. the doctors did not know he has chrohns disease till february and discovered a fistulae in the small intestines. Now they know why the feeding tubes did not work because the tube needs to be installed passed th fistulae. he is on a steroid now and the doctors say he cannot heal and he is too week for surgery and he will die. we can pull the plug. Question: If the doctors knew he had Crohn's when they diagnosed him for Pancreatitis, do you think the doctors may have treated him differently? (does crohn's complicate pancreatitis?) @melissa12
