Hi, I’m new here, but as a chronic daily migraine sufferer myself, I have some wisdom. I’m 43 years old. In my past, I only had hormonal migraines before my period, and “pressure” headaches with storms. since 2000, I’ve been rearended in car accidents. (4x), I live in Michigan, and with this year’s crazy weather patterns I’ve been having headaches daily. I tried the nerve blocks and a pain center in Ann Arbor. It didnt work, only made me sick.
I’ve tried lots of drugs also. The only thing that works is sleep. I also get massages weekly and was told by many doctors to exercise. Swimming is supposed to be the best, but walking outdoors is helpful too. I find with my migraines I also get a tension headache. So, when you feel the migraine coming on, just sleep it off. Or watch tv or listen to music and put an icepack on your head, neck, temples, or sides of neck. Use a towel over the ice pack or wash cloth. @jks0924
