Hi All,
I have joined the forum today. I have a query.
I am a 26 year old. I am all good health-wise. I do running and exercise every alternate day. I have been pretty regular in running/exercise since last 2 months. I am not overweight.
I recently gave blood tests and found out the following:-
Cholestrol (5.69 mmol/L)
Triglycerides (2.04 mmol/L)
Cholestrol/HDL-C (5.17 mmol/L)
LDL-C/HDL-C (3.64 mmol/L)
Uric Acid (470 umol/L)
I am a bit worried as the above readings were highlighted in the report as above the normal level. I believe the benchmark is laboratory ranges.
I am young and energetic. I am really surprised over slightly increased uric acid and cholesterol levels. Can someone tell me if it’s something to be really concerned about?

What was the reason that you had the blood tests done? Here’s some info about uric acid levels and cholesterol.

Have you seen your doctor since getting the test results?
