Can HfPEF be reduced to Lifestyle (Obesity, Diet, Lack of Exercise, etc.)?

I don't know what you have been told, or what you have found on your own in an attempt to read up. Have you seen anything like this:

I think it's the usual: don't burn the candle on both ends, eat lightly and go low on carbs/refined foods that are heavily processed and are bound to have salt and sugar and fillers added, avoid alcohol and medications that might raise blood pressure, get out and walk for most of an hour most days (try to up the pace a bit for ten minutes), and really....follow prescriptions of any kind given to you by your caregiver.

Thank you! That article is useful and informative! I did not know about the atrial shunt procedure for HfPEF. I know Borlaug is at Mayo and Shah is at Northwestern. I wonder who is currently offering this procedure? I got a second opinion for my Acute on Chronic HfPEF from Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. They were very risk averse! They only suggested I add Lasix and refused to recommend anything other than medications, exercise, and wellness.
