Spinal cord work is unexpected shocker: 'This is a breakthrough'

"Hey Susie, look at this. I can move my toe!" The simple movement of a toe has led to a research breakthrough. Susan Harkema set out to learn more about nerve pathways and discovered that electrical stimulation to the spinal cord can create voluntary movement.
