Help- stomach pain
I had really bad stomach pain, can’t eat couldn’t drink so I went to the ER they ran tests on me and said I was medically fine. But I was very dehydrated. They gave me a iv and anti nausea. Today I can’t eat still, I can drink a little and I made a doctors appointment on zoom. The doctor said I most likely have a stomach infection. I feel like it’s not that because I’ve had the stomach flu and it never felt like this. I’m in constant pain my stomach aches and I get waves of intense nausea and discomfort. I’m only 17 and I’m very scared. Please give me advice.

@nikkicxncel – It has been a couple of days now- how are you doing this morning?
If you still feel as sick as you did when you first posted you may have been back to the ER. Do you have a parent with you for support?
The ER should repeat blood test and perform an ultrasound and even a CT scan if you still have the pain and nausea.
Also, you are quite dehydrated and you should have received IV fluids in ER. Dehydration can worsen the pain too.
You are young, but they should still make sure you don’t have appendicitis or even gallbladder problems. My son was 16 when he had appendicitis and my daughter 19 when she had her gallbladder removed.
Please let us know how you are doing today!
They said there’s no way I have it, that I would be in agony and stuff. I’m just gonna have to wait this out.
@nikkicxncel well, I just hope you don’t have appendicitis and that you don’t end up with a sudden rupture. What are your parents’ thoughts on this?
