Has anyone tried Arikayce treatment?

If you share more about your wife’s situation, you might get more specific advice. Has she been sick long? Had other treatments?
Is she being seen by docs who treat bronchiectasis regularly, such as Bronchiectasis Centers?
Does she do airway clearance?

Good luck to both of you. It’s a tough battle, but some of us are doing a lot better since we got diagnosed and treated. Note-I didn’t have MAC after all, but airway clearance and other meds helped.

I am on Arikayce currently. After my 4th recurrence of MAC in 10 years, this was a new medication available to me so I took advantage of it. After 13 months of negative cultures I will be stopping it soon and fingers crossed that my MAC does not return, I also took the Ethambutol, Azithromycin the whole time.

I used it for a week and started to cough up blood. Unfortunately I have had problems with every medication they put me on. I hope your wife has better luck than me.
