I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! I am grateful for this site! We are not alone! I wish peace and happiness for all!😊

Happy Thanksgiving to you, too.
On this day, I like to think of something that I might never have dreamed I'd be thankful for. How might you finish this sentence?

I never thought I'd be thankful for _______________________________.

@colleenyoung I never thought I’d be grateful for no wide open spaces near my house! I’m very happy to see a house in very direction. 😏. Wide open spaces means fracking sites are coming!

To be cancer free and able to spend time with friends and family. I never imagined I would have cancer, due to my life choices of cutting back on sugars, eating Whole Foods, organics and exercising 3x a week on average. Let alone it being pancreatic and then, surviving, beating it and becoming cancer free. I never thought I would be thankful to have normal life back again with all the good and bad.

Welcome to Connect, @kjrita. You've arrived at a good moment. Next week, I will be opening a new group dedicated to pancreatic cancer. I look forward to hearing more about your cancer story.

I have often wondered why there was no group specifically for pancreatic cancer. I am looking forward to hearing from others on this topic.
