Had a rectocele prolapse op 3 years ago nd havent slept pain free ever since. Burning pelvis and rectum and bowle pain also got restless legs. Now on Gabapentin and Trazodone just to get some sleep. its got me depressed because I dread going to bed now because I know whats going to happen. Been waiting a year to see a consultant. I know I have had nerve damage , the meds make me sedated the next day also due to lack of sleep and being sleep deprived. Its never ending.

I am on 300mg of Lyrica 3x's a day, and it only helps a little. But it sure causes some side effect. Lack of sleep is my middle now!!!!

Yes its hard to know when to take these nerve meds taken too early you wake up with weird dreams and taken too late sedated and depressed the next day.
