Good afternoon! My name is Pokie {yes, it’s a nickname).Anyways, I am here because I am hoping someone can give me some life advice concerning my problem. I am 50 and have always been very healthy, energetic and happy……til now. One day about 6 months ago I woke up and was in so much pain I could barely walk. Both feet were so swollen I couldn’t get my shoes on. I went straight to the doctor, I guess that’s what you can call him, and he gave me a diuretic. So I pee’d for a week and eventually they went down. Since then, I have SOOOO much trouble breathing, I constantly feel like a fish out of water. It annoys everybody around me as well because I am always sighing, but it’s not, i am just trying to catch my breath. My shoulder hurts so bad I can’t lift it high enough to shave my armpit. Now my calves are swollen as well. I went to the e.r. and they said they can’t find anything wrong with me. My legs feel like they are made of concrete and I KNOW that is NOT normal. If anyone can help me I will forever be indebted. Oh, and I have gained 35 pounds in the last 2 months.
