Four years ago today…
… my spouse dropped me off at the ER entrance. I was determined not to leave until I had answers for why I was having trouble balancing and losing sensation in my toes, but fully expected to be home for dinner.
Four days (and many scans) later, I had a tentative cancer diagnosis — origin still unknown — was waiting for the result of a needle biopsy on my spinal lesion, and was being prepped for immediate surgery because I had just lost use of my legs.
My next dinner back at home (in a wheelchair) would be 15 January.
It's been a journey.

Damn...all I had was a backache. I would have just chalked it up to bending wrong if I didn't go into renal failure.
How's it going now?

2 Reactions@mjp0512 Pretty good, thanks! Not where I was before, but who is? And I got a lot more back than the doctors originally expected.
