Forteo
I had to stop Forteo for several reasons. But after 21 days I have been having severe pain in my neck, back especially low back and low legs and ankles. I read that it has shut down and it’s a breakdown in the bone that forteo made. Has anyone had this and does it finally go away

vmcgrantham, this is very interesting. I hadn't heard of Forteo shutting something down or causing breakdown in the bone. I'm quite interested because the longer these medications are around the more we find out about them and I'm taking Forteo.
Pain in the neck can certainly cause pain in the low parts of the back. Is something fractured. Have you had imaging preferrably MRI.
So sorry you are suffering.

2 ReactionsHad Cat scans no fractures. But they keep trying to push that reclast medication. I cannot take these things. I have an auto mute. I have kidney issues. I have thyroid issues and I keep telling them this. They don’t listen if anybody has been on fosamax is there any good? Any bad side effects
My friend was on fosamax for 5 years and now has osteonecrosis of the jaw. She was taken off fosamax, and started on Evenity. That doesn't make sense to me because Evenity can also cause osteonecrosis of the jaw., and she lost BMD on fosamax.
