Flowmax side effects : Anyone get hoarse or lose their voice?
It seems like every time I start taking flowmax I start getting horse and loosing my voice after about 5 days. I can not be sure if flowmax is causing it. So I was wondering if anyone else had this experience while on Flowmax

Only side effect I had on Flomax was a pretty severe blood pressure drop. Cardiology told me to trash it after about a week.

1 ReactionI had a large blood pressure drop on Flowmax (Tamsulosin) and it made me dizzy. Switched to 5mg Calias (Tadalafil) and now have no problems. It is not as good as Flowmax for the urinary symptoms but was strong enough for mine. Side effect profile is what you would expect.

1 ReactionI have been on Flomax since Feb of this year. The hoarseness I experienced was occasional, it would last a short period of time then it was gone. I think the worst effect is tiredness although it seems to be not as bad as it was initially. In my opinion, that getting up 5 and sometimes 6 times a night was playing havoc with my sleep and health consequently Flomax has improved that dramatically. Eliminating some beverages such as coffee and tea and most alcoholic beverages and not drinking after 6 p.m. has improved my condition. I do drink coffee periodically but only in the day not latter as in the evening. I would rather not take Flomax but surgery would be my only option, not sure I want that at this time.
