Posted by sankarpinaki @sankarpinaki, Mar 21, 2018

Hi, I requested the moderators to help me getting treated at Mayo clinic with the help of charitable organization as because I don't have enough money to get there but no one responded. Actually there is nobody in this world to help the poor and less previledge.i am so frustrated. I thought I would be helped by someone.

Hello @sankarpinaki,

Mayo Clinic's mission is to provide the best care to every patient, and we do recognize the need to serve patients in difficult financial circumstances, and seek to provide support for those unable to pay for medically necessary care. Mayo Clinic determines the need for financial assistance by reviewing the medically necessary services, available insurance coverage or other sources of payment, and an applicant's financial profile. This method allows for a fair and accurate way to assist patients who are experiencing financial hardship.

@sankarpinaki, may I suggest that you please contact Patient Account Services, https://www.mayoclinic.org/patient-visitor-guide/billing-insurance/financial-assistance to discuss various options? They will be able to best answer your concerns. This webpage has a lot of information about charitable care. In the meantime, please accept my sincerest wishes for success.
