Eye problems after TBI/Concussion?

Has anyone had a decline in their vision after a concussion/PCS/TBI?

I find it strange. It's will be 2 years since my MVA this week. Still dealing with Post Concussion Syndrome. I have to use readers and can barely see anything up close now.

First , I thought it was the headaches causing stress and fatigue. Then months later I bought some readers (just in case). Now I have to have them or I can't see up close. Ophthamologist tested and referred me to Neurologist.

My vision is still 20/15 - HOWEVER, vision up close has progressively worsened since the accident. I still have pressure on one eye, 24/7 ringing in ears, and nerve tingling in face, headaches still come and go.

Thank you. I just saw the Neurologist this morning. He said the nerves are regenerating in my face and that it's good. I told him, I feel like my face is a mold and someone cut my head in half and offset each piece. That's the best way I can describe my vision. It takes a lot to focus. And the pressure, pain, is all part of the nerves regenerating. Gave me gabepentin. Said I'm healing, it's just a really slow process.

The good thing is: I've been waiting since December for this specialist. So things have improved since the referral. He was surprised of my long wait - but I've noticed when you have no insurance, there seems to be long wait times and I think it's because they can't run a ton of tests to pad the bills (a type of discrimination based on $$$$ signs - just my opinion). But everyone I know met says their DRs rack up a huge bill for insurance then send them home, saying they don't know what's wrong.
