Exercise to be fit-not Skinny, Eat to nourish your body, Invest in you

Hi I’m Linda@Lioness I had to learn the hard way about the correct food to eat.I was always active,racquetball, swimming, walking in the woods. I,m a retired L.P.N of 35 yrs working in all areas of the hospital ,nursing homes ,home health ,insurance exams ending in private duty But in 1996 I had a triple bypass due to eating the bad kind of fat.Dr told me to get of red meat no more hamburgers, I decided to become a vegetarian .Its been 22 years now and my heart is fine.I,m now 76 and started a chair exercise class ,its good for the whole body.Our class is an hour long 2xa week lifting small weights strengthen,s, the bones along with magnesium, calcium, Vit D .Make sure you talk to your Dr first so you won’t hurt yourself.
Are there other ways you exercise? How beneficial do you find it for yourself?

Exercise is so important for all vascular disease, so good to hear you mention that.

In our small town our local grocery store hires a nutritionist that would hold classes on weight loss and healthy eating, best class I have taken!
