Mayo Clinic Connect
Has anyone been following the Bredesen protocol? If so have you seen any improvements?
Sorry for the tardy welcome. Somehow your message slipped by. I am unfamiliar with the Bredesen protocol. With a quick internet search to learn more about it, I found several articles
– Science-based Medicine that did not speak highly of MEND (Metabolic Enhancement for NeuroDegeneration) https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/mend-protocol-for-alzheimers-disease/
– Integrative MEND Protocol for Reversing Alzheimer’s Picked Up in Aging and by George Washington University … plus more https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4991646/
You may wish to follow the Living with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) page on Connect and pose your question to the authors of the blog. https://connect.mayoclinic.org/page/living-with-mild-cognitive-impairment-mci/ They will certainly know more than I do.

Thanks for the follow up. I will try to connect with the MCI group.

Has there been an evaluation of Bredesen's approach by Mayo or similar entities?

Hi @stanstep, welcome to Connect. You'll notice that I moved your message to this discussion where @blayne was asking a similar question. What experience do you have with Bredesen's approach?
