Has anyone had a double balloon endoscopy/colonoscopy? Just trying to find out what to expect from others. Thanks.

Hello! Just found Mayo Connect and glad to be here. I have had 2 double baloon procedures at Mayo Jacksonville in 2019 and 2020 and have one scheduled for next week. The procedure in my opinion wasnt too bad. Anesthesia did a great job because I didnt remeber the procedure, nursing staff was professional friendly and made me feel at ease. My physician was wonderful and explained the results to me in a meaningful way. I hope your procedure went well @thrombomom14
