Does depression cause fibromyalgia flareups?

What I have found out when I am stressed things flare up and not until things get back to normal do I feel better or get back to normal The main thing you need to learn is how to manage your stress levels so your fibromyalgia, arthritis and other autoimmune issues don’t flare up. I know it is not easy to do. I’ve had to do it myself many times. I wish you the very best

I don't know if fibro causes depression - I have lived with both all my life. I do know that it worsens when the fibro has flared. I deal better with both after I realize that the fibro has flared and I am feeling depressed. For me just recognizing what is happening helps me cope. I also remind myself every morning that if I am feeling depressed, I can deal with it. I hope this helps.
