Does anyone have any experience with Sotilol?

I had been on Flecanaide and metoporol for 15 years or so. Had an ablation in 2022. Then i had a couple of SVT events/ had to be cardio version. EP put me on Sotilol 2 weeks ago. I am in normal rythym thank God, but weak. I am wondering what experience others have had with this med. thank you for any feedback on getting used to it, etc.

Yes I was on sotolol and it was the worst experience of my life as I went into afib every week and semi lost conciousness a few times.Think it was Bradycardia...my cardiologist at the time didn't agree.Later I discovered that I had a myocardial bridge and one should never take sotolol as it can cause sudden death with a myocardial bridge.Metroponol and flecinide were both ok at start but now Im attempting to emwean off metroponol

The "olols" do that. My brady was 45-50. After cardioversion, metoprolol is part of my Rx meds. Now HR is 33. As long as I remain vertical, no one seems to care. Weak.

I have been on sotalol successfully with NSR for 5 years . Recently I had several a fib episodes so I had a PFA 2 weeks ago and remain on sotalol. so it was very successful for 5 years. I am 82 and had afib for 17 years. SEE my EP in 2 weeks to see what he recommends for treatment following PFA.

Debroo. Thanks
Just took me off metolol (tiny amount). Now I am much more comfortable at HR of 43 instead of 33.
Heart may be "healing" after cardioversion and meds.
