Sweet smell of success: human nose discerns giant array of odors

Do you think your nose can tell the difference between citrus and mint? Fresh food and slightly spoiled food? Researchers found that the human nose can identify more than a trillion different odors. One of the researchers said the most important contribution of this research is it revises the idea that humans are terrible smellers.
