I have neuropathy in feet and lower legs that was diagnosed before I ever had elevated blood glucose. BS runs about 150 after eating healthy, balanced meal and about 120 fasting and low 200s when I eat pasta or dessert. I have noticed that the discomfort disappears when I fast and is significantly diminished when I eat no carbs. Is there anyone else out there with a similar history? I also have elevated cholesterol and worry about eating no carb diet.
