Is the Mayo Clinic a good place to go for a diagnosis?

Are you kidding? The only difficulty is that you need a referral. Find a Mayo trained doctor in your area (go on the internet) and make an appointment with him pronto. If he can’t help you he will refer you to the Mayo. Good Luck!

The Mayo clinic is an excellent place for diagnostics. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease by my neurologist in my local area . however I was reffered to the Mayo Clinic for treatment. There my original diagnosis was checked by the neurologists in Rochester and I was also treated up there. The quickest way is to go to a doctor and get a referal to the Mayo Clinic. You can also try to make an appointment online, however getting a referal is a lot quicker.

Good Luck!

Did they diagnose you there? If so, how long did it take to get a diagnosis?

Yes they did and it did not take long. I was there 10 days my first time.
