Check out this cd program...I highly recommend it. The Midwest Center for Stress and Anxiety. I went through the program as a teen...I had agoraphobia
I went from not being able to walk to my mailbox to driving out of state.

Please check that the dosage of medicine is correct. A psychiatrist advices adding antidepressants instead of changing them. So you take several antidepressants at a time.
Check for newer medicines.
Stay single for married life with added responsibilities can be a punishment.
Don't waste time and money on divine interventions, psychic healing, reki and other treatment options that well meaning relatives sincerely suggest you.
Poor finances is an added complication.

I am sorry to hear you are living with these conditions. I know them all too well and my only advice to you is talk openly with your Dr. and ask for what you need. If you do not get results, please do not give up. It takes time to find a drug or combination of that is right for your chemistry. If you don't feel comfortable with your Dr., I would seek another with good references that you can find on several websites. Depending on the extent of your depression and anxiety, I can't suggest much. If you want to share more about your type of depression/ anxiety, diagnosis, length of time in dealing with it and the different meds. and Drs. seen, that would give your question more to go on. It sounds like you feel alone in all of this. If I'm wrong, I apologize but if I'm right, you're taking a giant step in finding help just by posting. To not feel alone is one really bad feeling lifted.

It is taxing at times I know. There is a great deal of material such as books and cd's, there are medications that you are on and some you are not on and may never be on. In the end it is not about how to get rid of it, it is about how to manage thru it, as it never goes away. There is no magic drug that takes it away...there are drugs to help manage it better. Embrace this life and never be ashamed of what you are dealing with or who you are.
