I understand Mayo is running another stem cell trial for COPD this summer. Does anyone have any specific information regarding that trial?
@joelars Hello again. Here is the latest information about trials. https://www.mayo.edu/research/centers-programs/center-regenerative-medicine/patient-care/clinical-trials.
Did your infection clear up? Are you feeling better?
I have not heard that please forward any information you hear please. VERY INTERESTED/
@joangma – Are you referring to CBD oil and COPD? It really helps everyone to know who you are asking a question to. If there's no one person in particular than saying ALL at the beginning will be great. we have so many posts it really gets confusing.
I replied to you with a link to all studies. Did you see it?

COPD STEM CELL TRIALS, is there a good cbd oil there is so many out there ?
@joangma– Since there are no standards for even testing CBD oil it would be difficult to determine which is better. It is unfortunately hit or run. I would get a recommendation from someone you know before just ordering it on line. I use Charlotte's Web and am still trying to adjust the dosage. It was recommended by someone in one of the many groups that have discussed it here on Connect..
DOes anyone else have a suggestion?
Hi merry. Been so much going on with me. First off still have the tremors now have appts at mayo for blood work Ct scan for my lung cancer and mri for the tremors. Depending on results from mri will depend whether I go see a neurologist And I had another biopsy from my face. And that came back as skin cell cancer again that’s number 9 I think. These darn hills are getting harder to climb and don’t know how many more I can do. Hope you are doing ok. I need to get back in here.
@sakota– Hi Joan. I've been thinking about you and am so glad that you posted today. My husband is always getting treatments done for his face. Number 9? What does he want to do for it? I hope that you will find an answer for your tremors with the MRI. Have you done any research on tremors? check this out:
I seem to be able to control mine a bit by relaxing my body but my hands shake. I think that it's called Essential Tremor.
I should make another appt with mine
How are you feeling? How is your breathing? Have you finished all of your treatment or is this the CT that will tell if you get more?
Yes, please stay with us!
actually I felt better wiithin 1 week of receiving antibiotics. My doc said it can take a few months before the x-ray is completely clean. I have my repeat x-ray next week. If it's normal I'm calling charlotte at mayo to see if I can get into the next stem cell trials-assuming thye received funding to do another soon. When we last spoke she told me (iin Feb) that she hoped that there would be new trials as soon as this summer.
all ——I know the dosage I would like the name of a good cbd oil. my feet are blowing up for the last 2 months , I have a doctors appointment on the 15th. I need to try some other cbd oil the one I have is not working. thank you
@joangma The CBD Oil I am using is called Rapid Re Leaf. I has pills, oil, or a stronger oil called Natures gold. Anyway, you can look it up on line. I did a dumb thing and by mistake erased all the contact numbers I have for everything! However, I know you can find ReLeaf on the internet. The guy I talk with is named Travis. If you talk with him, or another representative, they will give you discounts. I like this oil and the pills as it works for me. I also like the pills for times of anxiety. Hope this helps.
@alamogal635– Good morning. Other than anxiety what do you take CBD oil for that works?
@ merpreb I also take it as mentioned in an earlier post as a sort of lab rat, testing it. If it does have anti cancer properties, I'm just seeing if taking the oil regularly might help ward off a reoccurrence . I know there are no studies that have been done on people, but I'm trying it just to see if it works. Also, it helps with the anxiety that lurks in the background about the possible return of cancer. Also, I do believe it helps with arthritis which I have and sciatica and pain in my back. My next CT scan is in September and we shall see what the results say.
