Complicated Sinusitis issue

Posted by @stepherrs09 in Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat, Jul 16, 2011

Hi I am new to this site.

I am scheduled to have surgery on August 25th for the removal of my tonsils and to fix my deviated septum.
The ENT doctor I am seeing is a top of the line doctor however he also recommended that I have my nose fixed. It is deviating to the left. He added to also fix "some irregularity" on the exterior.
On the paperwork the two operations are termed Septoplasty and Turbinate trim. My nose is broken yes, but I don't need any exterior cosmetic surgery but I am getting billed 3k because it's not covered.

Aside from this, I have an active internal cyst in the middle of my neck. There is an exterior hole that allows the "sac" to drain so it can drain itself out of my neck. I have never spoke to a doctor who knows how to treat this, and the only surgeon specialist I spoke with, told me that the surgery would be risky because of the nerves surrounding the sac and they do not know where the sac originates from. I also have elevated levels of ear moisture and wax. It is a pain to deal with the complications because chronic sinusitis is easily triggered when I get a cold.

What I would like to know is if anyone has had any experience or information dealing with an internal cyst?
If they know someone, a doctor or how to have it surgically removed?
