Chronic pain
Whenever I get some kind of illness I am left with pain that goes on and on. The latest was sinus infections in January-was treated twice with antibiotics and steroids with little relief. Eventually the sinus symptoms went away but not the headaches. Still have headaches and certain activities exhaust me. Crazy as it sounds, I forgot that I had been given the fibromyalgia diagnosis years ago. Maybe that explains why something always hurts. I also have a touchy stomach, neck pain, hip and back pain...Sound similar to anyone?

My fibromyalgia, which flared a few years ago after Covid, started with headaches. They were always on the left side of my head and would come and go for 4-6 weeks before going away for about that length of time. Eventually I developed severe body pain, insomnia and exhaustion. What helped me was LDN, low-dose naltrexone. There's lots of discussion about it under this support group.
Unbelievable! In my 30’a, I started with severe eye pain (upper eyeball), went to ophthalmologists, optometrists, natural medicine doctors. Then headaches. Sinus infections that would return or not go away, even had sinus scans, took antibiotics for about 1 year. Migraines that became chronic. Then early 50’s body pain started shoulder, neck, knees, elbow area, bottom of feet. Hips and legs. Major stiffness, especially mornings. Could barely walk due to pain. Had stairs in our townhouse to go to upstairs bedroom and had to go on all fours. Stepping of curb painful and almost impossible. Couldn’t open doors due to pain. Depressed, always tired and became inactive)I used to be very active). Doctors were thinking muscular dystrophy. Eventually diagnosed with fibromyalgia after everything else ruled out. A few weeks ago I still had the hip and upper thigh (sides) pain (probably one of the worst areas for me), it brought me to tears. Started taking LDN. Right now I only have pain in my back. Major improvement!
