chronic fatigue impacting life
20yr old f i recently got diagnosed with fibro after a huge flare up (not 100% certain it's that, it was not diagnosed through elimination, just straight up that) but the chronic fatigue i'm experiencing is just so debilitating to me and i'm so upset. i'm a university student and it's midterm season and i genuinely cannot get up to do anything and i can't play with my cat and im so exhausted. its impacting my life when theres things i NEED to do, especially as a student its just like :/ now what. i need to study for my midterm at one point or another. god this is horrible and im just so confused. my life was not like this before

@quilterfingers my doctor isn't the greatest so he hasn't really visited any other possibilities. i'll definitely bring this up with him though, thank you< 3

1 ReactionI completely understand how you feel. Fatigue has been the worst of my symptoms the past couple years and it takes a lot of effort to keep my job. A lot of dr’s outside Mayo are using old research for treating fibro. The latest research is that our brains are sensitized and we feel things more intensely. This might sound out there but trauma therapy helped me deal with the emotions of being chronically sick and it gave me some energy back. The more upset we get the worse we feel. I hope this helps and that you feel better!
