Appendicitis without surgery may be safe option for some kids

Children with uncomplicated appendicitis may safely be treated with antibiotics instead of surgery. A new study reports 93% of patients who received 24-hours of intravenous antibiotics in the hospital were feeling better within a day and tended to recover faster.
