What did you do to repair a retinal tear?

Im a high myope. One large supior retinal tear. Three weeks later second large tear withe superior detachment close to the macula.
two lasers for the tears. retinal victrectomy with laser and gas

Great surgeon.
post surgery cataract.

went to northwestern IM a -11 with 75 astigmatism myopic of course

I have confidence in my surgeon
just cant get in for five month out for surgery
I see my retinal surgeon end of april
I know my post surgical cataract is progressing
Ive already waited 7mths
can the cataract progress that fast to a four

I had a retinal tear in my left eye in August 2018 and had it repaired with cryosurgery. After that, the cataract in that eye advanced very quickly (i.e. vision got blurry) and I had surgery for it in December 2019 (16 months). I surely wish you well on your surgery.
