Getting Teeth Pulled Before Heart Surgery May Pose Serious Risks

Cardiac patients may want to wait until after any cardiac surgery to have infected teeth pulled. A new, small retrospective study done by Mayo Clinic found that 8% of heart patients who didn't wait to have teeth pulled suffered adverse health outcomes.
