Mainly it’s for jeff Marchi, Jeff when reading an old post I came across a post that you may have mentioned an Australian Broccoli smoothie, can you elaborate on that? Have you tried?
Thanks

It’s more than a broccoli smoothie. In Australia, they make a soup with a super broccoli that can prevent DNA changes. The best is very High glucoraphanin broccoli.

I don’t think the broccoli that is in this graph is available in the United States and they don’t provide a recipe for the soup.

Here is a graph that shows the results of the soup being used in three different levels of broccoli.

I think that at the time this was first posted I found place where seeds of super broccoli could be purchased but than I got to my senses since I do not have single sunny patch in my garden and it should be a BIG one if one plans to consume broccoli evey day. *sigh So, regular "little trees" must do XP.

We really love all Brassica plants (cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, Brussels sprouts, turnips, bok choy, radish ) and they all contain anti cancer substances. Now my husband eats broccoli and white button mushrooms on a daily bases - broccoli very lightly steamed and sprinkled with mustard seeds, white mushrooms raw cut in any dish - they take taste of a dish you put them in, In a salad they will taste like salad dressing, in tomato soup like tomato, etc etc . If I make roasted veggies or stews they go in also lol. So easy to incorporate in every single meal : ))).

Google :Frostara, Black Tuscany, and red cabbage also contain higher levels of glucoraphanin than broccol

If you’re looking for highest glucoraphanin content per gram, broccoli sprouts are an order of magnitude higher than any mature cruciferous vegetable….check it out.

Homemade broccoli sprouts are easy to grow, the freshest way to acquire and the most economical way to go.

Two SS sieve trays produce enough for daily servings for two individuals for 5-6 days, which is the time it takes to grow the next batch…..a never ending supply.

I’ve been making and eating broccoli sprouts daily for two years.

I also make a thick “veggie chili” that contains (among other things) broccoli, brussel sprouts, white button mushrooms, celery, carrots, tomatoes, onions, garlic, sweet potatoes, quinoa, turmeric, paprika and many tasty spices.

I usually love reading posts here, but you guys are making me sick. I really prefer not to eat for dinner what my dinner eats for dinner. Blah...any recipes for a T-Bone smoothie? 🤣
