Has anyone had brain fog from their chemo and what it may have been like?

Yes, chemo can cause brain fog. It’s called CICI (chemo-induced cognitive impairment)

Possible Symptoms

Difficulty concentrating or focusing
Memory problems (forgetting things, difficulty recalling words)
Reduced processing speed
Confusion or disorientation
Trouble multitasking
Feeling mentally sluggish or "foggy"

Have had 5 (of 6) docetaxil treatments — I’ll say my brain is “foggier” than normal… mine has manifested itself in the fact that I am finding it difficult to locate words as easily as usual. (My wife probably approves — since I remain a little more silent now instead of appearing “slow” — ha ha).

When you can’t remember the word, remember the concept and get that out and that usually gets the word equivalent. I do it frequently After being on ADT for almost 8 years.

I went back to work and my job involves driving . So far the brain fog appears minimal. Thanks for the info
