Dear Ones,
Does any have experiince with a bone biospy produre with tertacycline labeling?
Endos are looking for mineralization defects and accurate bone turnover infor that is not coming up in genetic or lab testing.
I have been through genetic tests, labs test, ultrasounds ; I have been on tynlos 23 months/ actonel 6 weeks/evenity 11 months - which I fractured on. That is a rare event indeed...
My docs are considering HRT as an 'out of the box' solution. But they also want to see results of a biopsy. All help and prayers are appriceated.

I'm curious, have you ever had BSAP (bone specific alkaline phosphatase) or a serum phosphorus level checked? Ive read that they can give clues about mineralization problems. Keep us posted on your tetracycline labeling and bone biopsy. Hope the underlying cause of your bone problems will be uncovered soon.

Yes thank you as these are important labs. I have numerous BSAP and serum phosphorus labs and a many many many many more - and of course all the cancer labs that effect bone. Thank you for your kind reply.
