Bled out rectum

Hi! My husband recently had a pretty severe rectal bleed; spent 3 days in ICU. No answers from local Dr. Any suggestions or recommendations at Mayo in Rochester, MN? We live in north west Arkansas. We would like to get a definitive answer/diagnosis. Thank you!
