What effect does bending over have on an aortic aneurysm?

Welcome to Mayo Connect. My provider has put very few restrictions on me, and no mention of bending. But everyone is an individual and best check with your provider.

Did your provider give you any restrictions?
Would you care to share more info about your aneurysm? Is it newly diagnosed?

Something I've started to do whenever I need to bend over is to get down slowly onto a knee. If I need to pick something up, I'll squat down to pick it up if it's not too heavy, keeping mindful of breathing to avoid a valsalva maneuver.
