I recently had a seven day event monitor show daily episodes of atrial tachycardia (50-90 episodes per day). The EP is recommending ablation. My question is related to the odd pattern that I noticed on the event report. It appears that the episodes consistently began about 5pm, peaked about midnight, and essentially stopped by 5am. For seven days, this pattern stayed consistent. It just seems odd. Is anyone aware of any circadian patterns to SVT, or any adrenal/metabolic/ or sympathetic system issue that would cause this every evening and night but not during the day? It seemed odd.
