Apps for depression and/or other chronic conditions

Good morning everyone.

I recently found an app called Bearable. It is an app for people with chronic conditions like depression, ADHD, and different physical health conditions.

There is a free version (which I am currently using) and a paid version (which I am considering in the future after seeing how useful it is).

It has trackers for mood, symptoms, sleep, energy levels, nutrition, medications/supplements, and you can also link it to health trackers that are on your cell phone. Bearable has space to set goals as well.

I have been exploring the app for a few days now. It seems like it should be useful for people with mental health issues, as long as you make an effort to use it daily.

Has anyone else used this app? Are there other apps that you recommend for people with mental health issues?

Right now, I am mostly using it to evaluate my new Rx for Vraylar to track and document any physical side effects and to track my moods and symptoms of depression. As I struggle with ADHD (inattentive type) symptoms, which very much seem to overlap with my symptoms of depression, I use the app to track and document those symptoms too.

Reminders can be set in the app to prompt users to take their meds or to check in daily in the morning and at night.

I hope some of you may find this app helpful. Let me know if you have used it before and have any thoughts or criticisms of the Bearable app. Or if you have any other apps you recommend or have ones you warn people to stay away from.

Have a good day.

Thank you for sharing, I am downloading this right now. I struggle with finding realiable apps that will help track my emotions and symptoms and such, as I have had depression, anxiety, and PTSD for 10+ years. I am excited to give this a try.
One app that I used to use is called "Finch"--it's an interactive game that allows you to set daily goals for yourself, and as you complete them, your "finch" gets to go on adventures and other rewards. Daily goals could be as simple as drinking water, making your bed, brushing your teeth, etc. I found this helpful for my depression as it got me more motivated, but I stopped using it after about a year.
An app that I am currently using is called "I Am." There is a free and paid version, I had to sign up for the 7-day trial to make an account but canceled it before I was charged, and now have it for free. It's an app that allows you to customize affirmations that resonate with you. I have always found affirmations to be grounding and uplifting. I have affirmations on my lockscreen, a widget on my homescreen, and on my apple watch. They change every hour and I've enjoyed the little reminders that I am doing just fine.
Thanks again, have a good one!
