Anyone familiar with atrophy of the padding on the ball of the foot?
Despite adding padding to shoes over the years of its slow but steady progress, it now makes walking very difficult with a burning sensation. Tentative surgery may be scheduled by the only podiatrist somewhat familiar with the condition, somewhat iffy.
